Safety & Training
Our safety and training system at Mt Magnet Drilling consists of a mixture of external and internal Programs to provide an overall package for employees.
Currently all employees are trained externally at Working at Heights, and Four Wheel Driving, by the end of 2011 all employees will be Senior First Aid Trained.
Our internal training consists of on-site and workshop based training, covering Standard Work Procedures, Workshop Operations, 4 Wheel Drive and Truck Operation and correct work techniques.
Our Integrated Management System allows us to track and trace training needs and requirements for the entire workforce via the Integrated QSE Training Matrix.
Our Safety System has a healthy culture of immediate incident and hazard reporting and consistent Job Safety Analysis (JSA) completion.
Always innovating, our Drilling Rigs are equipped with KL Automated Rod Handling Systems, Safe T-Spin Automated Rod Spinners, Inter-locking Automatic Shut Off Rods Cages and Safety Overrun Cut Off Wire lines and Winch Ropes, which makes for an overall low impact and incident free work site.
